Privacy Policy

Pincode Checker is provided by Impaq Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when a merchant installs or uses the Pincode Checker application.

Information we process

The application may process:

• The merchant’s Shopify store domain and installation session.
• The store contact email used for sending CSV import reports.
• Pincodes, delivery zones, delivery estimates and widget settings entered by the merchant.
• CSV import summaries, rejected rows and error reasons.
• Subscription and plan information provided through Shopify Billing.

Customer data

The application does not request access to Shopify customer records, orders or payment information. A shopper’s pincode may be checked through the storefront widget only to return delivery availability.

How information is used

Information is used to:

• Provide pincode serviceability and delivery estimates.
• Save the merchant’s zones, pincodes and widget preferences.
• Process CSV imports and send import reports.
• Manage subscriptions and enforce plan limits.
• Maintain security, reliability and support.

Service providers

We use service providers including Shopify for authentication and billing, Render for application hosting, and Resend for transactional import-report emails. These providers process information only as required to deliver their services.

Data retention and deletion

Merchant configuration and import data are retained while the application is installed or as reasonably necessary to provide the service. Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks are supported. Store data is deleted following a valid shop-redaction request, unless retention is required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your rights

Merchants may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with their store, subject to applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the application or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are made.
